“Virtual Reality (VR): From Immersive Experience to Real-World Impact”

Thepparit Sinthamrongruk is a lecturer in the Digital Game Program at the College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT), Chiang Mai University, Thailand. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Informatics and has over a decade of experience in teaching and research in virtual reality, immersive technologies, and simulation.
He has led and contributed to multiple virtual reality projects and teaches university-level courses in virtual reality and immersive media. His experience spans both academic and applied research contexts in Thailand and the United Kingdom, with a focus on applied VR, digital twin technologies, and real-world impact.

“The Bee Protections: Wasp Detection Systems using AI Algorithms & IoT for Smart Defence”

Asst. Prof. Gp. Capt. Dr. Thongchai Yooyativong is a senior lecturer in the School of Information Technology at Mae Fah Luang University, where he previously served as vice president and dean. He holds bachelor’s degrees in physics and electrical engineering, master’s degrees in industrial technology and electrical engineering, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, and he is also a graduate of the National Defense College of Thailand. Prior to entering academia, he served 12 years in the Royal Thai Air Force, contributing to the establishment of the Directorate of Electronics, the Directorate of Information Technology, and the first RTAF ICT Master Plan, as well as participating in the engineering teams responsible for the digital network of Don Mueang Air Force Base and the Royal Thai Air Defense System. His academic and research expertise centers on embedded systems and AIoT, with extensive leadership in national and regional development initiatives, including telecenters for rural education, the Digital Ancient City: Chiang Saen Project, digital entrepreneurship development in Chiang Rai, digital administration systems for rural schools, and smart farming and digital farmer development. He has also served as an advisor to the Senate Committee on Education and the SMART GRID Subcommittee of the House of Representatives.
